Short N' Sweet
Featuring a small holiday gift guide, another week of picks, and my latest purchase that will leave you wanting to listen to Ultralight Beam and reminisce about a simpler time.
One of the best feelings in the world is making a playlist that you actually love and listen to without skipping any tracks. My latest one got me coming up with new outfits, redecorating my apartment, and taking choppy ass photos again - Prime Time Bitch Chris is back.
For this week’s post, we’re covering Christmas gift ideas that will earn you the title of either favourite child, GOAT-status partner, etc. I’ve also added a few options for those looking to treat themselves because, hey, you gotta treat yourself during the holidays. This is what Jesus would want you to do.
Christ, I’ve got restless leg syndrome right now while trying to pick an album to listen to, and opening all of my tabs for this post. I’m going through it rn.
Latest Pick-Up
My inner 2016, Life of Pablo-era self is overjoyed right now.
Turnabout’s currently having their Black Friday sale, or some kind of sale, and I’ve had some decent luck there this year, so I decided to pay them a visit. This resulted in picking up a Black Overlapped Sweater by Fear Of God. In my 30 years of living, I would’ve never expected to own anything by the brand, but hot damn.

I would not pick this up at full price, as I don’t think you can go back to your regular self after picking anything up by Fear Of God at retail price. If you can find one at a secondhand spot, then it’s worth taking a peek. It’s oversized and 100% wool, so I will be wearing this every single day .. just don’t look at the tag on the back, pls and thank u.

This is a great question, and one that comes up quite often, so I felt like maybe addressing this today.
It’s mostly through a buy/sell rotation of my wardrobe. If you were to take a peek at my closet, you’d see that it isn’t very big since I’m trying to mostly curate a uniform of sorts now. Up until this year, I’d say that I mostly bought items that looked interesting and fun without taking my wardrobe (at the time) into consideration, and how well these pieces would integrate.
I’m now trying to be more conscious of what I’m buying, what it’s made from, what’s the quality like, is it durable, will it be with me for longer than a year, etc. With my new living situation, I definitely have to keep these things in mind first before spending anything + seeing if there’s anything in my closet that’s no longer in my rotation and if I can sell it to help cover the price of whatever I’m looking at.
Though, I am also blessed to have my current 9 to 5, along with additional side quests like doing commercials, etc. Catch me on your TVs sucking down tatertots for Cavendish Farms.
TL;DR:
Rotation of buying/selling items from my wardrobe to alleviate the cost of something I’m wanting to purchase. Cavendish Farms, tatertots.

Weekly Picks
As always, here are this week’s picks. I’ve been finding plenty of gems by Comme des Garçons recently and this list could’ve turned into a CDG-only list. Going through these made me wish I were a Medium though.
One time, while I was down in Cuba, someone came up to me and told me that I looked like Obama, but if he were a linebacker instead. So, yeah, use this knowledge in however way you want.

Absolutely love the book recommendations. Planning on picking up a book for a friend for Christmas, you came right on time :))
Finding the perfect black sweater is a never-ending quest but you seem close enough.
Also, I'm curious about your 9-5. Is it a place where you're allowed to dress more freely and in a creative way ? How do you manage that ?
My job in the near future will be corporate with a somewhat restrictive dress code and it got me thinking as to how I can enjoy clothes with these restrictions. Will I only let me creativity exist with my clothes outside of the job or will I be able to find interesting alternatives that will fit the criteria of the work space ?
Trying to think of brands or clothing items that could be worth looking into.
