Intro
It feels like everyone is going through a bit of a transition right now.
And speaking of transitions (beautiful segue) we’re now, whether you like it or not, moving into fall, and there have been some excellent deliveries across the board. Maiden’s Shop, Coverchord, Dimple, Neighbour, Ven Space, all the spots that makes your body tingle a little bit. You know what I’m talking about, freako.
I’m seeing beautiful stuff from Gabriela Coll Garments, Unkruid, Sono, the heavy hitters we’ve mentioned for a minute now. But, and I’m only going to say this once, I do feel like this is the last season you’re going to be able to obtain Gabriela Coll Garments successfully without having to wait in line with hundreds of others. Her works continues to evolve and I’m hearing plenty of chatter about how this is the collection for the fall. Well, that and Toward(s).
If you’re not on the Toward(s) train yet, then I can’t help you brother.
Before we dive into things, I’ve noticed that some of these recommendation posts from top dog creators aren’t real. They give dead internet theory, and if you don’t know what that is, well, I envy you.
Sometimes it’s less that “I picked this because I genuinely like it” and more “I’m getting paid a bag to put this here.” I’ve seen recommendation lists where half the shit was gifted to the person recommending it, and they’re now saying how you should pick this up because they love it, when really they were given a lump sum of cash to push whatever it is.
For transparency’s sake, everything here is something I would personally consider buying, or something I’ve found genuinely interesting and could consider looking into further.
